We loved staying at the Farmer's Daughter Hotel. It was 30 minutes to the beach (Santa Monica) and 30 minutes to the Rose Bowl (Pasadena) with lots to see in between. From the second we arrived we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel is cute, chic, trendy, and boutique in every way. As observed by other reviewers, this facility appears to be a motel converted to a hotel by closing public access to what used to be a parking lot and is now used for valet parking. Farmer's Daughter has an odd mix of attributes. It definitely has the feel of an old motel, but some stylish updating, lively public spaces, and a good location make it a pleasant choice. My room had a good radio with iPod dock and a small fridge. Nice towels, but no robe. more

This hotel (motel-like) is in pretty good location, next to Farmer's Market in West Hollywood. Rooms are of a decent size, clean and generally quite comfortable.
