This is a favorite when I'm traveling on business. The staff is always courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. more
Like other comments say, this is not the best Westin. The windows need better noise isolation, bathroom is dated, and wi-fi internet connection is slow for what you pay. However, It has shuttle bus servies from the airport, Thrifty car rental located next to the hotel (20 seconds walk), and it has small but heated pool and jacuzzi. I didnt... more
Rooms are spacious but threadbare and worn. Ugly colors. Just because its an airport hotel doesn't mean it has to be so yecchy. There was a biker convention staying at our hotel. So it was noisy. LAX hotels are generally shabby but this one is supposed to be a Westin. more
Location is everything and that is what the Westin LAX Hotel offers. Rooms and staff's attitude need a makeover, unfortunately. The hotel served my purpose but I would not go back more
My husband and I stayed here at the beginning and end of an Amtrak trip (the Coastal Starlight) to Seattle and back to LA. Before I reserved I did my homework on this site for all the airport hotels including the Westin. I booked on Priceline at $62 asking for 4 star and pretty certain I would get this. I booked this hotel on Priceline for $69 per night, under the 4 star category. There is NO WAY that this is a four star hotel. It is more like a 2 1/2 star hotel. $12.95 for very slow internet. Rooms dated. TV an old relic. Beware of making toll free 1800 numbers. They hit you $2. Food horrendously overpriced. Give this hotel a BIG miss more
