Room was large and clean, but hotel is in bad need of an update and new mattresses. There are maybe four rooms on one side of the highway that have a lake view, but the main hotel on the other side of the highway, the view of the lake is very limited.

We had a group of 11 that stayed for 2 nights in July-11 and had a very good stay. We had 4 of the standard motel rooms. Stayed here overnight on our way to Yosemite National Park. It was extremely clean and comfortable in a beautiful garden environment. They also have a little cafe open in the mornings which serves great coffee but get in early for the pastries - they sold out by out 9.00am.

This was one of the last motels we tried in Lee Vining as all the others were full (Columbia weekend) - so very pleased to get one of the 'cottage' cabins.
