Went to San Diego Zoo and had a blast. This place is ideally located between the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. It is about 3 miles from downtown La Jolla, but easy to reach by car. I was only disappointed that there was a kitchen but no dining table. We didn't eat in the hotel so didn't matter... more

This is a fabulous hotel! The rooms are spacious and clean (newly renovated). The hotel was really crowded (with sports teams) but the staff was extremely professional and always took care of our needs. Great service! The grounds were well kept and clean as well. Great place to stay while visiting San Diego/La Jolla area. Excellent full breakfast bar included, saved money on breakfasts & lunches! Nice outdoor pool and hot tub and rooms were recently remodeled. Very nice homey/private feel to them! more

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn. My studio suite was very trendy (see pictures), lots of free parking, great front desk staff, free Internet and within 10 minute driving distance to great sites.
