I had my wedding here in October and it was almost as if the Lodge staff was trying to make my day and wedding planning EVEN more difficult than it needed to be. We had to fight them on everything!! Word to the wise-if you stay there make sure to CHECK ALL BILLS/FEES--they have suspicious and seemingly underhanded systems for... more

Objectively, the Lodge is a near-perfect hotel. Our family stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday and were treated to a flawless stay. The staff were oustanding, the room large, clean, and comfortable, the views of the Pacfic and golf course unbeatable, and the food excellent (particularly, we thought, the breakfasts). That said, it's not a practical hotel and its location... more

The location can't be beat, even if you don't play golf (it's right on the famous golf course). Good location for business or pleasure north of San Diego. The hotel is simply beautiful, in the public areas and the rooms. more

my wife says it is supposed to look old,but is not...well, i think it looks old..disjointed...except for access to the adjacent golf course,i would not go there..and i think they know how i feel...we were "upgraded"(agreed to in our deal) but i dont see how you could have a worse view...i think some convention was coming in and they got... more

I had the opportunity to stay at The Lodge at Torrey Pines for a recent business trip. As a golfer, this was a special treat to get to stay (and eventually playing Torrey Pines South) at The Lodge. From the time we drove up to the front of the hotel, I knew the service was going to be great. From... more

This hotel was beautiful! Although I'm not a golfer, the hotel was just as much as other hotels in the area, but way nicer. Smaller, more intimate feeling, great food and drinks. The hotel was very quiet, not busy at all. At times it felt like we were the only ones there! The room was beautiful as well. I would... more

If you got loads of cash and you want to be out in the middle of nowhere then this is the lace for you. The rRooms are lovely but this place is hugely expensive and I didn't like the restaurant choices plust it was miles from anywhere. There are some amazing walks you can do nearbye so depends on what... more

I had chose to stay here because it is next to the hospital my grandma was staying in. It was a quiet, peaceful lodge with tons of greenery. After long days at the hospital it was a welcome break and getaway. They adjusted their menu to fit my allergy to gluten and yeast, I was able to get a dvd... more

Stayed just one night at this hotel while visiting the Samsung World Championship LPGA tournament. It is located just 30 minutes from the San Diego airport and Mission Bay, but feels far removed from the busy tourist scene. This place was amazing. The rooms were very roomy and beautifully furnished. No detail was overlooked. The craftsman style and warm tones... more
