The location is top-notch for scenary. I went on a jog with ocean on my left and mountains (and I-5) on my right. The location, however, is not as convenient for other eating options, convenience stores or grocery stores. The hotel is a little dated, but the room was great and big. The staff was very helpful about changing our location . I would recommend asking for a room with a pool view - definately the best feature - the Ocean is really too far for a view. Enjoyed the gym. more

BEWARE...if you get a deal on Expedia or the like you may stay in what may be the un-remodeled section of the hotel! I am a bit confused and extremely disappointed to look on Hilton's website and see nicely remodeled rooms because ours was not nice.
