We selected this Inn due to the Tripadvisor ratings. We stayed two nights while hiking the Redwoods. It had been since we were kids since we last visted the North Coast of CA, so we had no idea what to expect. Being from the NW, we are used to having a selection of well improvised coastal town when we visit... More

My Brother and I stopped in Requa, after the motel in Klamath turned down cash payment. We were backpacking from Sacramento along the highways for the last 2 months- and we had just been shook down at gunpoint by the Wonderful Redwoods National Park LE. Klamath "Reservation" (the gas station on the highway with the neighborhood surrounded by a cyclone... More

I spent a recent weekend (mid-May '13)on the north California coast and the Requa Inn was my home base. Didn't spend much time there during the day but the evenings and nights were great. The two room I stayed in were excellent. The rooms are unique in size, shape, and furnishings, which adds to the charm. The beds and furniture... More

My partner and I stayed three nights here the first week of May and I feel as if we found a true home. The setting is at the mouth of the Klamath River as it spills into the ocean and the whole place is like a nature conservatory as the Yurok tribe takes care of the land as it has... More

Wonderful weekend full of nature and good food. We saw whales, eagles and osprey . The view from our window was amazing. Quiet and comfortable is what you get when you check in the Requa Inn. The redwoods and the ocean are only a short drive or walk away.

Stayed for one night at the Requa Inn and wished we could have stayed longer! Our room was lovely with a view of the lake opposite. Had original wallpaper from the 1920's also which we loved. We had dinner at the inn and were served a 7 course delicious meal with the chef explaining each of the dishes to us.... More

We have been here twice and it has been special every time. It is the only place I would stay in the redwoods. The location is unbeatable- you can walk up the road to the Klamath River Outlook and see the sunrise and take a hike to Hidden Beach. Great access to tons to see in the Redwoods. The hotel... More

A quaint little Inn located close to Redwood National Park that includes a great breakfast and offers dinners that are worth singing up for. It has 22 rooms and was built in 1922. We visited in 2011 and will be back this fall.

We stayed here last May in a room facing the river (and road). The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The owners and staff are friendly people. All the issues that can be complained about in an older wooden building such as thin walls, road noise, are clearly noted in the Inn's website. In the late spring we... More

We had a wonderful two-night stay here on our drive up the coast. The Inn is in a picturesque location overlooking the river, and makes a great base for exploring the Redwoods. Jan and her family gave us a warm welcome, adding to the cosy, relaxed feel of this historic inn. Their multi-course dinner was a real treat; with introductions... More
