Excellent location in the old city. Very friendly, early check-in possible. The manager speaks English, and responded quickly to our e-mails prior to our travel. He even organized to buy our “hard-to-get” train tickets to Luoyang. Well appointed rooms. Seems to have less Western tourist than other hotels in the old town.

This is the best one in Pingyao! I´m talking about the location, service, sleep quality, room, bathroom and cleanliness. They must improve something such as some western style breakfast and wifi internet at the room. I must give a special comment about the staff; they can arrange everything that you need and in a short time. They are amazing!

Chose the kylin grand on ctrip for its a 4 star hotel in this ancient town, maybe the highest star rating. The service is not really up to the standard. the resturant staff watched tv all the time when we have our breakfast buffet. better if we stayed at the hostel in town.
