We just returned from the most fantastic weekend at Dancing Coyote. We stayed the Acacia cottage (its the only one that allows dogs and we brought our little dude with us). The pictures on their website dont do it justice, it is super clean and adorable. We had planned to go out to dinner the nights we were there, but... More

We stayed in the "Skye Cottage" -- the smallest of the units -- and found it to be cozy, eclectic and welcoming. And the views from every window were truly breath-taking. The downsides were, our room had an extremely tiny bathroom with a toilet and a tiny, tiny sink and the shower was outside. Yes, outside and the shower curtain... More

We were pleasantly surprised with Dancing Coyote Beach. We traveled from Verdi, NV to the coast during the last week of X-Mas vacation and hit perfect weather. The unit was perfect for three (two adults, 1 8 yr. old). We were even allowed to bring our Border Collies! YIPPEE! The unit was nice and clean and the refridge. was stocked... More

A friend and I wanted to spend a few days on the coast and decided to explore Inverness. We wanted a place that was more than a room with a bed so we could talk at night over a glass of wine. Dancing Coyotes fit the bill. We almost did not stay there because we wanted separate beds, but the... More

This was a beautiful setting, a lovely place to stay. Waking up in the loft bed, with a view of Tomales Bay was a beautiful way to start the day. We had an issue with the stove, and the property manager was very helpful.

What a find! We’d spent the day exploring the Muir Woods & Point Reyes Seashore ending up in Inverness with no overnight accommodation booked. Although these cottages look pretty ordinary from the outside, they are beautifully furnished complete with open fireplace and private patio. The location is stunningly beautiful on the seashore and, not only did we enjoy a roaring... More

My friends and I stayed 6 nights at The Dancing Coyote Beach Cottages in late October, 2010. We LOVED every moment of our vacation at this little treasure on secluded Tomales Bay an hour from San Francisco. Outside, Dancing Coyote resembles a rustic chalet of sorts sitting on the beach instead of the slopes, but walk inside any one of... More

These cottages are lovely. We stayed in beach cottage but all looked charming. They have been designed so you got wonderful views basically wherever you stand in the cottage and have been made to feel spacious yet cozy - no mean feat! We had fires in the evening which was a real treat and was nice to make our own... More

Great hidden gem. Beautiful views of the bay, great location relative to the sights.... Peace and tranquility all in one spot. Do the Bear Valley to Arch Rock hike ... 8.2 miles about 4 hours.. Make sure you have a couple of bottles of wine to enjoy the peaceful afternoons at DCB

Right on the beach, this small (4 cottage) self-serve B and B is our favorite getaway in the Bay Area. Each cottage is well-equipped with everything you need, down to the bathrobes and the ample firewood. The setting could not be more spectacular - Tomales Bay with its constantly changing light and tides. And nearby are wonderful hikes, great birding,... More
