Having stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto 2 weeks before, the Ritz in Half Moon Bay was shabby and slightly run down in comparison. Location is great, overlooking the sea. My room was nice enough - not fantastic. Bed was very soft, which I don't particularly like. Would I dash back here? No, unlikely.

Very nice location along cliffs just south of the town of Half Moon Bay. The service is very good. Check in could use a bit more staff during the busy times but they do have a nice can do attitude at the front desk. The common areas are a bit small but are adequate. The gym is open 24 hours... More
