We stopped by on a stay in Gualala to book a table here and my husband went in to be greeted by a grumpy owner...looking into the dining room he spotted the owners dogs sat ON the laid up tables...needless to say we didn't book a table for a meal!

My husband and I have enjoyed dinners at Saint Orres since the early 90’s. Last Saturday May 5th we made reservations at 08:15 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a shame that the service has changed to be a disappointment. Saint Orres is no longer the star of the north and the staff is more incline to keep...

This was our third trip to St. Orres. Every cabin is different and we have stayed in a different one each time. Each cabin has its own charms and issues. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast is not exciting, but is adequate and you can have it while still in your bathrobe. The cabins are a sufficient distance apart...

My husband and I our first magical B&B vacation flying into the airport above this hotel, then hiking down to it. We decided it was the right place for our wedding -- a very small event. You can rent a house with additional rooms, so everyone can be together, if you like. And the restaurant is a perfect place to...

My wife and I stayed one night in the Sea Pines cabin. $155 per night, includes breakfast for two. The toilet, however, didn't operate properly. It took a really long time for the toilet to refill the tank and bowl. When it finally did refill, the water kept running in the tank. I had to turn the main valve on...

My first time to St Orres last month for a mid week getaway. Very friendly staff gave us a better cottage than we had reserved - they were most accommodating in every way. We had a great meal that night in the restaurant and a lovely warm basket breakfast delivered the next morning. I loved it. Initially I hadn't wanted...

My husband and I have been visiting St. Orre's since the year 2000. Normally, we have had a nice time, although lately some of the cottages have been looking weathered and tired.
For our 11th anniversary, my parents gave us a gift certificate to and we were thrilled. We planned a weekend for 2 nights in the coveted Black Chanterelle...

A coworker of mine recommended St. Orres when I told him I needed to get out of the city. Would never have found this otherwise. It was a wonderful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the city. We came over labor day weekend and it wasn't too crowded. Everyone was very relaxed and chilled. We...

We have returned to Saint Orres twenty-five years later of our first visit. We went there very worried about what we will find there after reading several negative reviews but only once we had made the reservation. Very probably, we will have changed our mind if we have read the reviews before. Fortunately we didn’t. We stay at the cottage...

Reception and staff, all very friendly. Food quite nice, not top end gourmet but innovation (eg. watermelon and goat cheese salad!) was nice, prices very fair for quality received. Service outstanding. Good wines by the glass (nice pour size) and again, fairly priced.
Some of the wild mushroom dishes would be interesting to try, next time.
We stayed in a...
