Good clean hotel in a location good to visit Hetch Hetchy which was our goal after a day in Yosemite Valley. Location is really remote, but that's why you're going to Yosemite, right? The restaurant next door is the only option, but a good option. I would stay here again.

Stayed three nights. The Good: Location - about an hour from the Yosemite Valley Visitor Centre; Clean room, nice bed, clean bathroom and shower. The Bad. No breakfast provided, and only one option within 10 miles (Buck Meadows restaurant next door). The Ugly. The price was very expensive for what you get.

it is true that this hotel is only 20 minutes far from NP West gate Entrance but what they do not tell you is that there is nothing to do there... you have to drive at least 1h to get to Yosemite Valley where all the trails and activity start! Spent six nights at the Westgate while exploring Yosemite. Found the on-site owners to be very accommodating and friendly and the room/bathroom to be exceptionally clean and decently equipped. If you can't get reservations inside Yosemite National Park, Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a good alternative. Though not fancy, the accomodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet.
