We stayed for 8 nights at The Berkshire Inn as 2 adults and 2 under 5's. The Inn is 30 minutes drive to the west gate of Yosemite and a further 30 minutes to the valley floor or 1h 15mins to Glacier Point, which was no problem to travel every day as the views of the countryside are so beautiful.... My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 3-day break at Yosemite, staying at the Berkshire Inn. The inn is beautifully designed and furnished and very different to the de facto standard alternative Days Inn/Comfort Inn/etc. Decent continental breakfast served. The people were very friendly and helpful.

It was so wonderful to get away for a few days. Just right outside of town you feel close enough to all the great food and hospitality in town and return back to the tranquility of the Birkshire.
