I booked a trip to Yosemite for the summer of 2012. I mistakenly thought this cabin was inside the park. It wasn't until after I pushed the confirm button online that I realized they were located 22 miles outside the park. I immediately called the Yosemite Pines to cancel the reservation. I was told there would be a $25 dollar... More

We do not imply that we our within the National Park. The first sentence of our website states, “Located just a 30-minute scenic drive from the western park entrance”. We do apologize if you felt our manager was obnoxious, rude, hysterical and belligerent. She was just trying to explain policy, which is also not hidden. You had to click on... More

My girlfriend and I decided to camp here in a tent for two nights in November 2011 to explore Yosemite National Park while on a two month roadtrip around the USA. As we made our way there, they called to see when we'd expect to arrive. Unfortunately, we were running late and got a bit lost so wouldn't be there... More

We always do deep research on our destinations way before get on the road. A unpredicted small holyday possibility that appeared at the end of August 2011 limited our search time. Some close relatives recommended us the Yosemite Pine Resort and Family Lodging and we said let’s give it a try. This was our first trip to the beautiful Yosemite... More

My son is a Boy Scout and I am a single mother. He and his friends always want me to take them special places and go camping. I love to treat them to new adventures, but sleeping on the ground is not for me, much to their dismay. My son read about the Yurts at Yosemite Pines and suggested it... More

Me, the husband, and our young son were visiting some friends in L.A. and decided to go on a little road trip and visit the famous Yosemite. We stayed at the Yosemite Pines, hoping to get a nice place for some fresh air! I called to make reservations a few weeks before and we splurged on a premium cabin for... More

We were glad to find Yosemite Pines resort after our long trip driving from LA. It costs too much for a hotel around the park (and they were all booked), so we were thankful to find Yosemite. The park is mostly for RVs but there are camping spots for tents, and they have cabins and yurts as well. Anytime you... More

A trip to Yosemite was on the cards for a while and me and a buddy decided to check it out last week. Our plan was to drive, have a look and then drive back. We left early, reached the park and had a great time walking around. Before we knew it, it was almost dark and we decided to... More

In June of this summer (2011) I was vacationing in California and planned on spending time in Yosemite and the surrounding area. I made reservations at Yosemite Pines Resort, making it clear I was car camping and reserving an electric/water site for three nights so I could run a small fan and lamp. On the way there I called ahead... More

We hadn't stayed in a yurt before so were not sure what to expect. Despite the rustic location, it was just like an uninsulated motel room with lamps, fridge, and remarkably, wi-fi. The bathrooms are a stone's throw away, though maybe a rattlesnake or two in between! Thankfully didn't see one of those, but went to sleep with the howling... More

I had a 4 night reservation and the day before while in Death Valley our RV had major mechanical failure. I made a courtesy call to Yosemite Pines to let them know we would be delayed a day and first thing the girl said was l would not be refunded my money for the first night. I wasn't even thinking...
