What a B&B is supposed to be! A delightful innkeeper who serves scrumptious breakfasts and offers a most charming guest experience in California's famed Gold Country.

“Fabulously GRACIOUS Innkeeper who prepared an "over-the-top" BREAKFAST!”

Absolutely immaculate b&b so convenient to everything in this charming, historic gold mining town! You can walk anywhere from this Inn while your car remains parked safely off of the street and within the Inn's own gated compound. Unexpected extra bonus: Refreshing MERMAID POOL/spa TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!

“Great Service, Very Comfortable”

Fran, the keeper, is very nice and caters to your needs. She made us feel very comfortable, allowing us access to the kitchen and the rest of the house. Roooms were awesome and cozy. I loved using her Bath and Body Shower Foam in the tubs/showers! Nice touch! Breakfast was fabulous! Will be staying there again next time we visit.

“NO hot water at 10 pm - thrift at the expense of the guest; ultra child friendly”

I would have given the inn a MUCH higher rating except that unfortunately they turn the hot water heater off at night, so at 10 pm there was NO hot water - not in the tub, not in the sink. The water was icy cold - even brushing my teeth (and they're not sensitive) was really uncomfortable. Forget the spa... More

We never turn off the hot water. This guest might have tried to get hot water when the two spa tubs were filling. I have no other explaination and am sorry for the guest's discomfort. I would have appreciated them telling me about the problem when they were here. Fran Fields, owner More
