Our whole family stayed here for my sister's wedding in October...it was an amazing dreamy floating time. Tim is wonderful, and so hospitable, we felt welcomed from the very first moment! For those of us staying with Tim at the house, and for all those who attended the wedding it was a truly magical, rustic, glowing experience! What a lovely... More

We came out for the wine and stumbled across Tim and his B and B. This is not the Ritz but it has a lot you can't find at the Ritz. Tim is a great host! He is friendly and interesting to talk with. When we were there, he was making his own wine and his enthusiasm for the process... More

Just had our wedding at Relais last weekend and we couldn't be happier. Relais du Soleil truly is an otherworldly experience. All outdoors with a distinctly intimate, family feeling and amazing views of both vineyards and sweeping hills. Mature growth trees of walnut, fig, oak, and others dot the landscape and give off a dreamy glow at sunset. Horses frolic... More

The reviews all looked good so we were pretty shocked when we drove up -- and it only got worse... The host gave us a glass of wine and chatted a while and we then asked to see our room. Because we had a small dog we were in the bunkhouse (I think) which turned out to be a ramshackle... More

With the red-tail hawks circling above, and the oaks and pines lazily moving their branches in the gently cooling breeze, it is difficult to muster the energy to do anything much more than simply sit and take in the charm of this sunny valley, especially when Tim produces one of his own wines, made on the property. But with the... More

Beautiful and unique. Amazing breakfasts - Tim is quite a cook! - with great stories to boot. The furnishings and rooms are on the older side but very comfortable and spacious. Grounds are expansive and fascinating to explore - from the vintage truck (which Tim will drive you around in), the sculptor/artist in residence, the barn with wine-making equipment and... More

I recently spent the night at the Relais du Soleil with my husband, 11 month baby, and French in Laws. The place was magical; the sound of the creek, the horses in the field, the starry night, and the sculptures of Brian Tedrick in the field... We had the cottage to ourselves and were able to cook our diner on... More

Those who point out that this is not your ordinary B&B are correct. It is a special and enchanting place. The grounds are spacious and a flock of wild turkeys lives nearby. Come to relax and younwill not go wrong. Tim is a treasure

We had our wedding here, and couldn't have asked for a better time or a lovelier outdoor party. RDS is very unique - the location is beautiful, rustic, original - Eclectic and funky - not like any B&B I'm familiar with. We were able to do exactly what we wanted and Tim couldn't have been more helpful. He & Maria... More
