We stayed just for one night but wished it had been longer. The room was spotless, spacious and has the biggest, comfiest bed ever. We, too, walked to Benziger winery (well worth a visit, the Zinfandel is fab) and despite the heat found it no trouble. The pool and courtyard were lovely and breakfast more than adequate. I recently hosted a birthday party for my husband at the Jack London Lodge and it was fantastic! It was truly "the" event of the year. We had many out of town friends that booked themselves into the Lodge for the entire weekend and loved it! The rooms are pretty and spotlessly clean.
