Stayed here for one night after visiting Yosemite for the day. Room was clean and comfortable but in need of modernisation. Breakfast was basic and only OK. Good location for an onward trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park.

I think the current owners have really tried to renovate this hotel, but in spite of new carpeting, paint, and bathroom fixtures, this place is really on the edge. The cosmetic changes can't change the fact that the hotel is very old and located in a creepy type of neighborhood. It looks like they have cut corners to stay afloat... More

First of all i had no problems with the nieghborhood. next door did play some loud 70's music. i couldn't hear it from my room which backed up to that area. the hotel has 3 bldg's to it. my room was clean and comfortable. refrigerator and coffee maker was in the bathroom. fair amount of tv stations to watch. the... We have always enjoyed our stays at BW motels. While not typically luxurious, they are usually clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. We travel many nights a year and have stayed at dozens of BW properties. This property however was an exception. First of all it is in a very marginal neighborhood, one bad enough that we were extremely... More

The last time my husband and I stand in Fresno we were not impressed but this time it was better. We spent one here in December. The reason?? To watch an ice hockey game. The hotel is very simple but clean. It served its purpose as a one night stand. The beds were comfortable, the spa was hot and the... More

If you have to go to Fresno, don't make it any worse; stay elsewhere. The neighborhood this hotel is in is incredibly sketchy and the rooms are dingy and terribly outdated. Additionally the room as not very clean and the furniture desperately needed replacement. The breakfast room was tiny and when we were there it was uncomfortably crowded, not to... More

The hotel is located in the hood the rooms are out dated. The staff was nice but the hotel is n need of some serious updating to try and drown out the hood factor. Had to go 6 blocks just to get some aspirin. Because bw plus didn't have any. I made sure my doors where locked on my way.

We stayed for 2 nights to visit nearby national parks. Everything was fine, nothing to complain. Breakfast was served in the other building, it was clearly above average. They have free wifi, too.

I've stayed at a lot of cheap motels in California, I like a good cheap motel, but I won't stay here again: I've stayed at better motels for half the price. On a mid-November night, my room was quite cold, and had just one light counterpane on the bed (actually a duvet cover without a duvet). I asked for two... More

Several good things can be said about this property: the staff is very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast is varied and generous. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. But rooms are very small. The neighborhood isn't exactly the best in town (there's concertina wire across the wall that adjoins the nearby roadway!). And if it's raining--as is... More
