I actually booked this hotel online largely based on the 5/11/12 ( recent) review. Big mistake! By no means does the motel look or feel new or remodeled. There IS construction going on, but even the staff said that the rooms will be remodeled for 2013. And in 2013 they will be nice, currently...not so much. Construction yeah, like: noise,... More

I had hoped to spend the night in Mendocino but, alas, it turned out to be NOT a budget traveler's destination. The available accomodations were all upscale inns and fancy B & B's. Oh, the HORROR!
