We love staying in Ft Bragg, so close to Mendocino but much more affordable. This time (April 2013) we decided to try The Beachcomber. Clean, reasonably sized rooms (we stayed upstairs for a better view), comfortable king bed, instant (!) hot-water, fragrant bath products, great coffee. And the jaw-dropping view of the ocean!
