The motel room was clean, basic and quiet. Staff were courteous and helpful. Its location allowed us an easy walk to a variety of downtown restaurants. Complementary breakfast was provided. But it was not as good as we had found at other accommodations on our road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway!

Room looked old and in need of some updating. Otherwise it was an ok room for one night. We stayed here because we are Choice Hotel members and wanted the extra points. Our room was near the pool and you could hear the pump running at night. Breakfast was not memorable.

The staff were very affable and courteous. The room was of basic motel standard and was unbearably hot with no A/C. We had to get the guy to provide a fan. Had the unfortunate experience of staying there one night on a motorcycle ride through the area. Reserved "Executive" room (thats what they called it) figuring I get a better quality. We received very friendly service from check in to chek out. Judy was especially friendly at breakfast and gave constant attention to guests and availability of food. This was a nice friendly town and a good place to stay when vacationing near the redwood forrests.
