Great location. Lots to do in Emeryville at the base of the Bay bridge. Theaters and restaurants are within walking distance. Hotel staff will bring you to BART station if you wish to travel to San Fran. PF Changs is directly across the street.

This Courtyard has a great staff however, the property has small rooms but they are up to date as to a Courtyard. I like the Courtyard make-overs and the oatmeal is tasty at the Bistro. I live in So CA and have never been to Emeryville - what a pleasant little town with great restaurants, Traffic getting to and from the hotel was very thick! I got a spectacular suite as an upgrade with a 360 view of the water and city.

Finding an affordable hotel in San Francisco that was also convenient to the highways was tough but the Courtyard worked out great. Courtyards have come up from where they used to be. This high rise hotel is located near Interstate 80 and the entrance to the Bay Bridge toll plaza. It is also near UC Berkeley and Oakland. Stayed 2 nights for a wedding held on the Berkley campus. Convenient to shopping and restaurants which was right across the street. Our room was on the side facing the shopping center which was more quiet than the rooms facing the freeway side. Staff was friendly and helpful.
