We stayed there with 2 kids for 3 nights. Location is amazing. You can here the river roaming. They have multiple pools. Kids really enjoyed them. We stayed for three nights while visiting Yosemite. The hotel it's self is average. We had a king room with a river view. The room was big with a balcony, whirlpool tub, double shower and kitchenette. It was a bit dated and could really benefit from new beds and bedding. The big advantage is being 10 min from park entrance.

My wife and I just stayed there for 5 days. Great river view and great proximity to the park. Other than that, stay elsewhere. I travel a great deal and stay in hotels in many countries. If I owned this place, I'd be embarrassed to call it a hotel (and charge what they do). Their website is a gross misrepresentation... More

There are some pluses and minuses for this hotel. The biggest plus is the location just outside the Yosemite Park entrance at El Portal. This hotel has a great location for Yosemite. The rooms are large but tired. I found the bed linens and towels all a little old and worn and overall the room felt a bit grubby. There were clothes left by a previous guest in one of the drawers and the cleaners left old cloths in the bathroom on 2 days.... More

great location to Yosemite National Park. Hotel itself very basic. Room size good, had river view room which was nice. Old interior, fridge didn't work, rooms were clean just old and outdated. The good: SO CLOSE to the entrance to Yosemite. Enjoyed getting out of the park at the end of the day. Room was good size, nice bath, kitchenette with cook top, microwave, fridge, sink, dishes and utensils. Had a corner balcony. Pizza was okay and restaurant was good but expensive.
