The Hampton Inn was good. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgable about SF. The hotel wasn't luxury but it was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was nothing to speak of but it was a short walk to the BART. More

The hotel's site pictures don't do the hotel justice. Very nicely appointed public areas and guest rooms. Excellent and robust breakfast (free!). Staff very friendly. Clean rooms. For a Hampton inn I expected it to be decent but this impressed me. Staff was extremely friendly... Customer service wow!!! They even had their maintenance guy help us with a car issue who happened to be a mechanic. Room and hotel cleanliness was superb!
