The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location couldn't be better. Hotel attendant, was very friendly and helpful. There was complimentary coffee and rolls in the morning. Free parking was a nice perk also. We would definitely go back to La Avenida if we return to San Diego. More

Stayed here on New Year's Eve in a room with two double beds. It was much larger than expected! There was an area for a desk and a large closet that was separate from the beds. Everything was very clean. Had to ask the front desk for an ironing board and iron as it did not come with the room.... More

I decided to stay here at the last minute. It was referred to my by a relative and I was very happy I stayed there. It is a non-smoking place and clean and comfortable. You can walk right to the front of the hotel and see the Hotel Coronado right across the street! It was beautiful! More
