We picked out this lovely setting by website and were most pleased with the excellent service, and crisp clean room,s this trip has bonded our family even closer, and we had the time of our life!! We entend to visit Ponderosa Cabins again in 2008. Most of all our new friend's at this resort.

I, along with a large group, rented several of the Lake Almanor Ponderosa Cabins for a summer vacation this year. While the location was nice and the cabins reasonably priced, we had a very bad experience with the management there. The setting of the cabins was ideal for our extended-family gathering. Nearby Lake Almanor and Lassen N.P. were among the incredible outdoor recreational offerings. The cabins were close with large decks which was ideal for meals, board games etc. The kitchens were well stocked with most of the cooking/ baking equipment a vacationer would need.
