We stayed in Chester as an overnight stop on our way to Lake Tahoe from Oregon, and loved it. The room was clean, fresh and COMFORTABLE! And the staff were wonderful, gladly sharing information about the city, the lake and food options. For those pulling a boat, spend a day or two in the area... as the lakes are AWESOME!!!
