This place is split into different areas, some of which look ok, but the area we were in was hideous. As others have said, tarmac and dirt up against a chainlink fence and the amtrak. Not a blade of grass permitted! We joined the queue to get our money back, which was cheerfully refunded (it's clearly a common occurence!)

The showers were dirty, the restrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned since weeks and also smelled like that. most of the reviewers are crazy! This place is the worst for tent camping. Small dirt lots next to a chain link fence and Amtrak running right next to you ALL hours of the day. Yes the beach is close but yes bathrooms are dirty and not maintained well. Many rodents and LARGE raccoons.

The only thing nice about this campground is its close proximity to the beach. Its a great beach in a fantastic community.
