Stayed there for 3 nights over Memorial day weekend. The King bed room was large, clean and on the ground floor. Slept well. Quiet. Large balcony. Price is still expensive but everything in Carmel is .... Well located, good service & tips. Wonderful restaurants nearby. 10mn walk to the beach. Easy parking underground. All in all I recommend this place.

It was a very nice hotel, situated close to everything in carmel (within walking distance to the main street), with great big rooms. Plus in our room, we had a fireplace which was a great little detail. Finally the staff is very nice, we had cookies and chocolates on our bed (another charming detail) and they bring you your continental... More

This is a comfortable hotel in a quiet area in the middle of Carmel, two blocks south of Ocean Ave., the main drag, and about 1 mile from the ocean. The hotel consists of three 2-story buildings joined by walkways. Beside its great location, the good things about it are its large rooms including good-size dressing areas, working fireplaces, wet... More

We have been staying at Adobe Inn in Carmel for many years. The location is right in the heart of town where everything is just a few blocks away. Service is wonderful and very attentive. They were able to reserve the perfect table for our anniversary dinner. I would strongly recommend Adobe Inn to anyone who wants a relaxing stay... More

Very nice hotel with excellent location in the heart of Carmel town. Everything was exactly as described on their website. Would definitely stay there again. Very good value for money compared with other hotels in similar locations.

We have stayed at the Adobe Inn on multiple occasions. The staff continues to be very friendly and the property is quiet, clean and comfortable. A few negative comments regarding our recent stay in Room 29: The TV is in need of replacement to a flat screen. The water mixer in the shower runs too hot, then too cold. Finally,... More

We arrived in Carmel with no accommodation booked but had picked several that 'we liked the sound of from trip advisor reviews' and had decided to look at before making a definite decision. The Adobe was the third hotel we looked at and we looked no further. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful when we walked into the office.... More

For our 25th anniversary, we went back to where we started: Carmel. This wasn't the hotel we stayed at (that one was sold out). This was one of the few that was still open for the days we wanted. The Adobe Inn is a family-owned and an older property, but relatively well maintained. We had a king room and even... More

A great little place- close to everything, parking, and well run. The staff could not be nicer. The building is dated, but the rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and spacious. I would return to the Adobe anytime.
