I was lucky enough to go to the resort and spa as part of the Aveeno Active Naturals Most Inspiring Moms contest. The rooms were very spacious and the beds heavenly. The spa was truly phenomenal. Not only were the treatments great-- book Katrina for the age-defying facial-- but so were the spa amenities. Also, the range and schedule of... More

Definitely expensive, but also a quality experience. Great for a special romantic get away. Staff are friendly and helpful. The spa is fun and if you have a service you can use spa facilities, pools, garden, hot tub, hot pool, sauna and the best steam room. Chopra centre has their facility on site, and you can book an Ayrevedic spa... More

La Costa has become our favorite hotel in the southern california area. We spend every Thanksgiving there and we visit during the year. The resort has been upgraded and the renovations are fantastic. The pools, the restaurants, the gym and the rooms are all fabulous. The service is unbelievable (esp our favorite - Adam!). I actually got to know one... More

Gorgeous property with exotic flora and lemon trees. Peaceful and very private. Service was super. Our 8 year old loved the pool area and the indoor bar made some awesome Mojitos! (Terribly expensive but that's a resort) The rooms on the other hand were mediocre for a spa. Granted we were in a lower end room ...but still. I do... More

We only stayed one night and next time will stay longer! Room was beautify remodeled with a comfy bed and spacious bath. Love the fact that you can park your car and just stay at the resort - there is so much to do! Great yoga class at the Chopra Center (just wish I could have charged it to the... More

My husband and I recently stayed at La Costa and had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend staying there. The rooms are beautiful, relaxing and very peaceful. The Spa is wonderful and the staff is very accommodating. It's a bit on the expensive side, luckily we had a gift card. More

Just went back after roughly 10 years. I think the renovation was a big success! There are multiple room types available, to the point of almost being confusing. We ended up changing rooms from a king studio to junior suite to make room for our (adult) kids to stay one night on the pull out couch with a door between... More

Stayed for a conference so I can't comment on prices, but the grounds are nice and the rooms are very comfortable. I had large plush beds, a desk for working (with plenty of outlets), spacious bathroom with large tub, and glass/marble shower. Conference center/ballroom was huge and state of the art. Food was very good, so compliments to catering. TVs... More

My family stayed at La Costa in January, 2012. There were some good and some not so good aspects to our stay. First with the good: The staff is, uniformly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are upgraded and a fairly good size for a standard room. I really did like the upgraded rooms which include modern... More
