Just finished a weeks vacation at this resort. We loved the location. We had a 3 bedroom unit for 8 of us and we were all very comfortable. If you're going to Lego Land then this is the place to stay. You have your own private entrance to the property.

Ideal location for a family vacation. Central location to Sea World and San Diego Zoo or the beach and many other sites of interest. Broad choice of restaurants as well as grocery stores. Select shopping near by without having to leave the Carlsbad area.

One pool area near first two building areas. other pool areas below the Sheridan Hotel. Short walk. Rooms clean and easy to get around. Ocean view not on the ocean. About 1-2 miles from beaches. Easy to get there. Noise from LEGOLAND during the daytime. Not after 6PM. Relaxing are to be at.

We really liked the proximity to Legoland for the kids. Good access to stores, groceries, restaurants, etc. Cooking in was a little challenging with tools, materials provided. Directions to the resort made it easy to find and get to. We would recommend getting a 2-day park pass (Legoland) with the proximity we had to the park.

As a HGVC member, we always use this location as our base camp for Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and San Diego Safari Park (formerly known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park).
