This hotel has everything it takes to make it a traveler's delight but HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you care about being treated well, dont even think of staying in this hotel. Our room had an wooden plank over which a tv was placed. The plank is like a wooden stool and the tv covered only 10% of the plank.... More

I am sorry if three of you did not enjoy staying at Tashi Namgay Resort unlike other guests. But I can assure you that we did our best to serve you like any other guests. Honestly, we could not provide extra bed as request came during the check in, and they were already in use as we had only 2... More

It is not easy to find relatively big and good hotels in Bhutan. Although, most of them are great in terms of hospitality and friendliness. This hotel is big, according to Bhutan standards, with big rooms, good food and an extraordinary massage center. I tried the house speciality and was great. The lady knew how to give a relaxing but... More

sadly, we only stayed in the lovely resort overnight, mainly to be able to catch our flight back to India on time. The staff was very helpful, although they did try to push the Spa quite a bit. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as we had all three meals here - both Indian and Bhutanese. Breakfast could have... More

We stayed at Tashi Namgay Resort in Paro primarily because of its incredible convenience to the airport, from which we had to depart very early in the morning the next day. The hotel is not convenient whatsoever to any other place in Paro, unless you have a car or take a taxi. Our room was modern and nice, although rather... More

We just returned from Bhutan, having spent three nights at Tashi Namgay Resort. We had a wonderful time, and the staff was outstanding. My wife had been injured earlier in our travels and the people at Tashi went out of their way to make our room work for my wife. Truly wonderful people. It was also great to hear the... More

I enjoyed this property more than any other I stayed in over the course of 11 days in Bhutan. Consistent hot water in the shower, comfortable beds, very clean rooms and the food was great every meal. I enjoyed 3 nights here and feel as though I had a good feel for the property. While the location is a bit... More

This hotel has the authentic Bhutanese wooden details around the upper floor. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owners were very hospitable and quick to correct a malfunctioning hot water tank. The food in the restaurant was satisfactory. Despite the proximity to the airport, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. The rooms facing the courtyard also have a view of... More

Beautiful place, 10min. from the airport. Staff are helpful and friendly. First impression of this place it could be 5 star if this place is properly manage. This was our last stay in Bhutan and our worst. It started by the staff giving us a twin room, and when I asked if we could have a double bed, we were told just to push them together ourselves. The food was also some of the worst of our stay, and foul coffee! Ask your tour guide to eat... More

Tashi Namgay Resort is a family run business. Managed my young team of staffs. It is located opposite to Paro International Airport separated by a big river(called Pa Chhu). The resort is spread over 5 acres of lust green agriculture field along Pa Chu with 360 degree views of beautiful landscape. The traditional Bhutanese architectural design and modern amenities were combined to provide our guest a comfortable stay and yet experience a Bhutanese lifestyle. Unlike many hotels & resort of equivalent standard in Paro valley, Tashi Namgay Resort offers high standard spa facilities, fitness center, Bhutanese hot stone bath experience, traditional games like archery, khuru, dego, BBQ and bonfire facilities. ... more   less
