As in other places of Asia, it has "resort" in its name. It is an average hotel, with clean, big rooms. I stayed in December 28, last night in Bhutan. The rooms are comfortable my room C101 (cottage) had two heaters. As it was not high season, we were only 6 guest there, the menu is simple for breakfast and... More

I stayed in the hotel as there was conference arranged at the same venue. Yes, as mentioned by most of the people, the room s a little smelly. The reason being humidity captured by the carpets which do not dry as the rooms are closed. I instructed to hotel staff to keep the windows open for 2 hrs during the... More

We stayed here on the last night of our Bhutan trip. Pretty much what everyone has said, the room is big, but it has this funny smell, we tried to leave the window open, but it gets really cold at night.

We stayed here on the first night and last two nights of our 7-day Bhutan trip. The bedroom is very large with two queen size beds. There is a small TV which is too small really, for the size of the room and the reception is not great. Worst of all, all the rooms stink of sewerage. However, I do... More

I stayed here while doing a 9-day Bhutan trek. The resort is somewhat high up in the Paro hills, off of a VERY rough (nearly impassable) road. The hotel is small and quaint; more of a lodge than anything else. The bedrooms were quite big. The bathroom was also fairly large, though poorly lit, so it felt a little dank.... More

We were there 2 nights at the beginning and 2 nights at the end of the trip. It is out of Paro, which can be good or bad. It is quiet. No barking dogs or traffic noise, but you are stuck out in the sticks, which is bad if you like to be able to walk to town to explore.... More

Quiet location. Good for a first night: no dogs heard Large ground floor rooms in cottages are best. Great for sorting out kit pre or post trek Good hot water Good hotel if you want to organize your own private dance display and welcome party. Excellent service David Lyon

This hotel is situated about half way down the road through the Paro Valley from Paro itself to Takktshang Goemba (Tigers Nest) and is about 3 miles from the car park at the foot of the climb. It is about 500m up an unmade road & consists of a main block with restaurant and lounge with rooms above and two... More
