My father found a great coupon deal in the newspaper for room/breakfast/dinner and a bottle of wine per night. we stayed 2 nights, and wished we had a longer stay. For the price, we weren't expecting much. Instead, we had huge suites, gorgeous gardens, wonderful meals (including surf/turf, filet mignon, etc), attentive and friendly service. We would have been happy... More

We took advantage of the Travel Zoo promo. We called the lodge before buying our coupon and was assured there was room. The lodge was excellent in every respect. The staff at the front desk was very attentive. We played golf at Morro Bay and enjoyed that drive and the experience. The grounds at the lodge were very beautiful and... More

I got a deal through Travelzoo for the Cambria Pines Lodge. For the price, it was great! If I had to pay full price, it might have been a bit much however. We stayed in the main lodge area, not in a cabin. The room was clean, but quite outdated. I'm not sure what the individual cabins are like, so... More

Great room in the grounds of the hotel for our family of 5. Excellent breakfast included and great small pool and hot tub for the kids to enjoy. A very peaceful location too. We even saw 3 deer just outside our veranda area. We walked in to town for our evening meal down a series of steep steps and back.... More

My husband and I spent one night at the Cambria Pines Lodge on our trip down to southern California. The staff at check-in could not have been nicer, more efficient or more friendly. The feel of the lobby and the adjoining bar was that of a comfortable lodge where you just want to hang out and relax. Our room was... More

I had been to this hotel a couple times many years ago and had a fairly good experience. When I saw a Travelzoo promotion for two nights stay here, I thought it might be a nice way for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. After paying for it, I called to book a reservation and found there was... More

We are very sorry that Jim W was not able to book the dates he wanted after purchasing a Travelzoo Local Deal voucher during our April promotion. The offer on the Travelzoo site clearly states that purchasers should book early to assure availability; in fact, we find that most people call us to check dates before buying their voucher. The... This hotel is set in a woodsy area with extensive gardens to walk through that are well maintained. The rooms were standard hotel style. The full breakfast included with your stay is very good...large selection and indoor and outdoor seating. The pool area was clean and water was a good temperature. Short, 5 minute drive to the small town which... More

We visited the Lodge in late April. The garden flowers were blooming, the birds were singing and the house cat was looking hopeful. Our room was large, with a fireplace and king bed -- quite comfortable and quiet. The morning buffet breakfast was more than ample and good. We look forward to another TravelZoo opportunity.

This is a nice hotel with lovely gardens. They have a complimentary breakfast buffet each day which consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, potatoes, pancakes, fruit and coffee and juice. Although the rooms aren't the most modern, they are still nice, with a wood burning fireplace. They also have a full service restaurant and bar with live music. It is... More
