I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was great! Nice fireplace, and great partial view of the ocean. Morning continental breakfast was fine. Very close to the beach. I will stay here again! more

My wife and I stayed at Moonstone Landing for one night on a driving trip up the coast. First of all, when we arrived we noticed that most of the hotels along this strip of Moonstone Beach all share the same great location, so this shouldn't be a big factor in choosing a hotel here, although views will obviously vary... more

From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. Check-in was very easy and the owner was super nice. Our room was very nice and the fireplace made it so cozy. Even though we didn't upgrade to an ocean front room we still had a view of the beach out our window. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was... more

We picked this by chance as we needed one night close to Hearst Castle on our journey up the coast. The walk in rate, mid week, was excellent, the lady on reception was happy for me to see the room before deciding to pay extra for the balcony overlooking the beach. (Our friends had the non balcony room which was... more

We only stayed here for one night as a stopover but Cambria is a lovely town with brilliant antique shops and lots of restaurants. The hotel is a drive from Cambria itself but it's location is amazing. The hotel looks onto the Pacific and you just have to walk across the road to be on the beach. The views were... more

Got a weekend night for 150$ and i cant imagine a better hotel in Cambria area. right across from Moonstone beach where we played and saw surfers which was special since we had been searching for them all down our drive down the coast. Front desk was very helpful recommending great bakery in town ( Linns) and restaurants. We found... more

To celebrate my mother's 50th we flew to San Francisco, hired a car, drove up to the Napa Valley before taking route 1 from the Golden Gate bridge down to LA & San Diego but stopping at various locations en-route, Cambria being one of them. This was actually in 2003 but I was not given any options beyond as far... more

The hotel itself is fairly small but is very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. We upgraded to a larger room on the ocean facing side of the hotel. If you can afford to do this, it is the way to go! We were actually allowed to look at both the room we booked and the one we could... more

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a US West Coast Tour. The smallest and one of the cheaper hotels we stayed in, but one of the nicest locations and nicest hotels ! Staff were friendly, and the hotel really is in a great location on the beach with sea views in the small town of Cambria. Rooms were... more
