This place was lovely, one of our favourite hotels on our drive from San Diego to San Fran. The rooms were modern and well equipped with high quality equipment. It is not the fanciest place on Moonstone Drive, but it is always, consistently, one of the best. Beautiful location...the ocean is directly across, welcoming staff, very comfortable rooms. For a little extra cost you can stay at the Cottages, same owners. Both are wonderful. Stayed here many times over the years. More

We stayed in one of the three cottages operated by Blue Dolphin and had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the cottage was really nice and cozy. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset was another thrill. Perfect for a weekend getaway and for a visit to the Hearst Castle. Would definitively come back again. More
