Calistoga is, in our opinion, the optimal location for touring the wine country -- easy access to both Napa and Sonoma valleys. Lovely, spacious room with comfortable king-sized bed and sitting area with fireplace. Romantic breakfast delivered to our door and set up on a table for two. Our hostess Darla was especially warm, friendly, and helpful, giving us suggestions regarding places to visit and supplying us with detailed directions. I highly recommend the Foothill House. The accomodations were very good, Darla the Innkeeper/owner was great. The breakfast each morning was delicious. She really makes you feel at home. Reasonably priced accomodations. Close to Calistoga. I would certainly make a return visit. more

Darla is a wonderful hostess, and we will return to enjoy the deluxe rooms, perfect breakfast, cookies, and 6 pm wine with snacks.
