Calistoga proved to be an ideal hub for exploring Napa Valley and Sonoma during our honeymoon. Cottage Grove Inn was super cozy, cute and spacious. The tree-lined street/alley was certainly true to the hotel's name - cottages amidst a beautiful grove of trees. The complimentary breakfast was incredible - particularly the quiche - as was the evening wine and cheese (and... more

We stayed here for my husband's 40th birthday and fell in love with the inn! Each cottage is seperate so very private. They had a fireplace (weather was too warm to use it!) as well as a large jacuzzi tub for two. The Inn is walking distance to downtown Calistoga. They served wine and cheese in the evenings as well... more

We felt like we were walking into a fairy tale when we stepped into our own beautifully- appointed cottage. It was love at first sight: hardwood floors, two comfy toile-covered chairs in front of a working gas fireplace, a step-up, deep jacuzzi tub (with candle) in a lovely bathroom, and the MOST comfortable "hotel" bed we've ever slept in! They... more

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending our Anniversary in our own private cottage. Our overall experience was so very relaxing. We were able to book a massage and wine tours as well. We loved the afternoon wine and cheese severed on the patio. We will certainly book again next year! more

We stayed in cottage number 1 this time and were pleased to find it quiet and just as well appointed as all the other cottages we have stayed in. With it's tree lined walkway and delightfully comfortable front porches, you think you have been transported to a time of leisure and luxury. more

What a fantastic Inn! It's like being in your own little "neighborhood" in beautiful cottages! You sit out on your own porch in wicker rockers, as the other guests pass by and say hi! The breakfasts are amazing, the afternoon wine and cheese is wonderful, and the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive! They don't miss a single detail... more

The best place I have ever stayed! It is truly romantic. The staff is ever so friendly. On our second trip to CGI (stayed in the Tuscany Room) the staff had a bottle of champaign waiting for us w/ a note welcoming us back, congratulating us on our anniversary and wishing us a long endearing life together. Touches like that... more
