I think this is the first one star review I've ever had to leave. It most cases you can find some redeeming qualities about a place no matter how awful it is. Nope, not here. I had friends in town and we needed a pet friendly hotel for them.. We were going to CalNeva but last second decided to check... More

"You get what you pay for" - in this case $64/night (cheapest in the Tahoe area) got a fairly clean room with a shower, toilet, and (creaky) bed. The place looks like it was run down the day after it was built (50 years ago?). The lock on the exterior door looks like it might be appropriate for a closet... More

This is a 3-star hotel. On the outside, the exterior walls remind you of a swiss chalet. On certain portions, it seems the walls are coming apart. This is among the cheapest hotel along King's beach and closest to Northstar ski resort. It lacks amenities such as coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer, etc. In our room, the TV cable was... More

Where do I even begin!? To start off let me just say I am a broke college student so the reviews that say this is great for that are just inaccurate. I'm not very picky and usually stay in fairly inexpensive places however nothing would prepare me for the tahoe inn.  The hallways resemble something much like an old  run... More

This has to be the worst experience with a motel ever...at check in.. received a key..signed for room...DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE..look at room first.!!!
We went to the room, on the way , spotted abandoned torn apart vehicles , filth everywhere, plastic covered roofs, torn wall paper, damaged walls, more filth in hallway..open door..(Erie music playing in head)....beds where lopsided and... More

We had a terrible experience at Stevenson's Holliday inn down the the street (ugh don't ask) and so we needed a hotel desperately. The staff was very friendly and was willing to show us the rooms first before committing. The older section of the motel was really bad--and after refusing that they offered their "remodeled" section. It was pretty decent... More

Hotel room was large, but room had a baad smell to it. Bed was uncomfortable, and the hotel could not come up with even one extra bed pillow when asked. Overall, I would try to find another low-priced hotel before I went back to this one.

We tend to stay at cheaper hotels/motels to be able to spend more on activities... This by far has been the worst place. Lobby, hallway & room smelt bad. Front desk was very friendly. Entered the room and thought OMG, when was the last time it was cleaned?!?!?! I can't sleep because the bed is probably 30+ years old. If... More

I have read the other reviews of Tahoe Inn. First of all, do not confuse this place with Cal-Neva Lodge across the street where the Rat Pack hung out. That Lodge has a lot of history. Tahoe Inn is the kind of motel in the 1960's and 1970's that has a main building and 2 or 3 other buildings connected... More

So I let me friend from Australia book one of the hotels and he was so proud to find a 50 dollar a night rate at the Tahoe Inn. When I found out, I knew it was trouble. I would have preferred to have camped. It is really a motel with a long history of chain smoking, mold, and heavy... More
