Booked through Tripres.com, they gave wrong address, called in for help, they said call back in morning. Hotel is very old,not worth $70. Stay at a name you know, not using Tripres again.

It's the cheapest place to stay in North Lake Tahoe and for some people that's all that matters but my recommendation is to stay away from this place. I'm not that picky (backpack and sleep in the woods for days) but I will never stay at this place again. I rather take my tent and stay there! The whole place... More

Its really cheap, and convenient at the CA/NV border. That's about all that's good about it. No maid service. Matresses like bathtubs (much lower in the middle). Trash all over the property. Thickest layer of dust in the room that I have seen for years. Table top not screwed to the rest of the table. No idea about smiling at... More

Toasty warm rooms, set back from the road with a nice view from our deck through the trees of the snow falling, everything works, front desk friendly. If you need modern ambience, cappucino, marble bathrooms or nouveau curtains and furniture, go stay at a nice resort and pay four times as much. Tahoe Inn is older, but it's just fine and... More

The Pool was closed by the health inspector. That's where it all begins. Peeling paint, dirty carpets, rude staff.

Well, you can guess from the price this isn't going to meet your expectations. But, there are things beyond just being a cheap beat up... well... hotel, I guess? First floor is actually half basement, and you will see bottom of the parking lot from your window, it also obstructs much of the light. But - there is more fun... More

We just returned to the Bay area from a weekend stay at Tahoe's north shore. If you look for a budget hotel that's right at the Nevada border (across from CalNeva hotel), then this is the place to stay. There are rates starting at 39 dollars, but don't expect Hyatt Hotel type accomodations at that price. You'll get the old... More

Reserved a "queen superior room" and upon arrival the toilet was non-functional, not to mention the room was awful. When I went to the check-in desk to notify them about the toilet, I was told that this toilet had apparently been in disrepair for at least a week. We were switched rooms and ended up in a room facing the... More

Three of us checked in. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the carpet was. The pillows were flat and they would not provide additional pillows. The wiring is so outdated. The sockets only accept two-prong plugs. They did loan us ONE adapter (we had 3 laptops so had to take turns online). Plus, one of the wall plates... More
