The Hacienda del Sol totally rocked! Going by the grim photos on the Web site, we weren't expecting much. Boy, were we wrong! Our room (#19) was clean and quiet, with new bedspreads, horizontal blinds, carpeting and all the rest. Plus ... a free San Diego Union-Tribune on our doorstep in the morning!

Older motel - most with kitchens - many duplex cabins. It is comfortable, spread out and the grounds are great. The furnishings are mix & match, probably all from second hand stores.
