We have stayed various places in Borrego Springs but enjoyed this the most. It is not a full service resort -but we didn't expect that. It is a lovely and gracious Inn with a ghostly glamorous past. The restaurant was wonderful-the breakfast which was included with the room, was unbelievably good. We did use the pool and the jacuzzi and... More

We visit Borrego twice a year, this was our first stay at this hotel. Overall, I was disappointed and at times shocked by the condition of this property. First, let me say that the lobby and restaurant are nicely appointed and clean. The food was excellent and both the dining room and patio had a relaxing ambiance. We stayed in... More

It's a few years now that we visit regularly the Palms in Borrego Springs during March and stay a few days... it's that time of year when the cactuses and Ocotillos are blooming, and Borrego Springs is a perfect base for wonderful hiking excursions in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park area and surroundings. The Inn is located in quiet... More

Wonderful weekend at a very funky style hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Great breakfasts served. Fab hiking trails near by, and take an afternoon to explore all of the wonderful metal sculptures in the desert.

The Palms at Indian Head Desert Inn is the best kept secret in Borrego Springs! My friends and I spent a lovely, long weekend exploring the Anza-Borrego area and stayed at this delightful Inn. It is small yet accommodating, peaceful with efficient service, with intimate restaurants both indoor and poolside, with a delightful menu and great service. Our favorite rooms... More

Our group of 21 women headed out to Borrego Springs for a retreat to bond, relax and laugh, all good for our health. We selected The Palms for our lodging and were treated to so many great experiences. We loved our views of the valley. The staff provided excellent service and our rooms were great. Cookies served each afternoon to... More

This is my second 3-night stay. I've always come in the spring. This place really hearkens back to resorts of the fifties with its mid-century modern architecture, intimate setting, huge pool and friendly staff. The ambiance cant't be beat. This does not make any pretense to be a 5 star hotel and I think it would lose its casual tranquility... More

This is a great hotel to relax in the desert. With only 12 rooms, a restaurant and great pool, this place has a quiet relaxing laid back feel. My wife and I brought our bikes and had great rides on fairly level roads through Borrego Valley. The room came with a wonderful breakfast served on the patio overlooking the pool.... More

This inn sits at the edge of Anza Borrego State Park. You can walk out the door and across the desert as the scenery of a beautiful location below Indian Head rotates around you. We booked the Corner Room for four days in February. There's a couch in the sitting room where you can sit with a cup of coffee... More

We love it for many reasons. One reason it that it sits well outside of town all isolated. We like that. Great views of the desert. THe pool is fantastic--and huge! It is beautiful--just to look at. Then there are the nearby "ruins" -- a number of bungalows that burned many years ago but the walls and are all still... More
