Room was comfortable. Appeared to be very clean, but....the toilet seat had some brown splashes on it. How does a housekeeper miss that??!? It cleaned up easily and every other surface in the hotel appeared clean, but it did gross me out a bit. (Front desk promised they would address with housekeeping, took my complaint very seriously.) 42" flat screen... More

Just got back from two nights at this BW. Noticed the complaints about cleanliness, but have to say I found nothing to back-up those claims. Room and bathroom all very clean, no complaints whatsoever. Easy check-in and check-out, friendly people. Room a bit small to fit two queen beds -- you have to squeeze by the second bed to get... I do think pet fees are far to high for well behaved pets. Mine weighs 5# and is better than most children, yet I have to pay $25 to have her in the room, the same as a huge, rowdy, non housebroke dog. I would rather pay a higher deposit that would be refunded if there was not damage to... More

We stayed here for one night on the way into Yosemite. The location is fine, but the hotel has seen better days. The room was updated, but still felt old. The breakfast area is awkward and small, although the food was ok. We wanted to use the jacuzzi but it is not outside with the pool... in it's own room... More

Left booking late and had little choice Average type of place. Average pool. Average Breakfast. Drove up from Vegas and was somewhat tired. Thought the booking via Expedia was final. Found out added extras chucked on the Bill as you sign out. (Why do some place do that!). Could not be bothered going thru the Small Print but just makes... More

This hotel had fairly good accommodations. The room could have seen a little better cleaning, the bathroom tile floors needed mopping as they were somewhat dirty. The carpet had several stains on it and it really needed to be cleaned. The stairway going up to the second level was absolutely filthy and the walkway on the second floor needed mopping... More

During our recent three-week family tour of California we stayed in Best Western properties most of the time. We like the BW brand as all hotels/motels are independently owned and run so there is not the sameness that one can get with some hotel chains. Unfortunately, our loyalty to the BW brand was tested during our stay at the BW... More

Bishop is a one-street kind of town in a beautiful location. It’s just a couple hours to the Tioga Pass at Yosemite Park and even closer there are a number of excellent mountainous vistas. A 15 minute drive out of the town puts you far enough away from the lights to see a very starry sky. This particular motel, however,... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay during the Tri-County Fair weekend. I apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused regarding the noise level from the Fair and other guests. When our staff receives a noise complaint at the front desk, we address it immediately and I will speak with the Front Desk Agent that worked that... More

This brand of motels usually does fairly well. I'd consider this place to be well above the average as far as cleanliness, facilities, etc. are concerned. Calling it a "spa" is a bit silly, since all they've done is convert one room into a hot tub facility with a tiny spa in the middle. But everything else is just fine... More
