Stayed here one night and the place was deserted. The room, number 18, was nice and big with a fridge and microwave. The TV was kinda small by today's standards, but it worked well. The beds were pretty soft, but I don't mind, I slept well. The curtains were dirty, I think mostly from people trying to pull them closer... More

Old but clean. I too feel it should be in the $40 to $45 range. I would have booked today for a December trip, but felt that $67 for two beds is just not right. Shame. Jim - Carson City, Nv.

The rooms came with microwave and fridge. The room was clean and beds comfortable. I paid around 60 dollars which is an excellent deal. I would check out barbecue pit restaurant just north of the hotel. Excellent food!

Had a terrible time in Death Valley with my car getting stuck. The hospitality at the Bristlecone was just what I needed. Totally recommended!

It was a decent bed for the night. We had been camping in the Big Pine Creek Campground, and decided after a very long day hike to pack up and get a hot shower and comfortable bed instead of sleeping outdoors on the ground again. We ended up here because it was cheap, and had vacancy. I'd guess that 95%... More

Vacationing with my wife, we just wanted a reasonably priced room in a quiet setting. The Bristlecone provided that for us. The grounds and rooms are very clean, quiet, and the Manager was friendly, and helpful. The rooms are basic, but included a refrigerator, coffee maker, WiFi, and cable. There is a store, gas station, and great restaurant on the... More

We were supposed to stay two nights at the Bristlecone Motel the weekend of March 18-20. Unfortunately a wildfire broke out and was headed towards the motel and we were evacuated the first night of our stay. Luckily for the motel the fire changed directions and the motel was spared. We ended up only staying one night. The Bristlecone is... More

Overnighted here prior to heading into Death Valley National Park. The rooms are NOT new but the beds are very comfortable and clean. It is an old roadside motel and if you set your expectations too high you will be disappointed. We were happy to find a clean and comfortable place with a reasonable rate. We found it. The biggest... Sure there are 'few' motels in this area, but the motel is a hodge-podge of materials. The showers were all connected, so it was a fight of scalding and freezing water with the other tenants. Circuit breakers were literally hanging on the walls. Was told there was a pool. There was. A few years back that is. Owners freindly, but... More

I tagged along on a fishing trip with my father and son. My father booked the room at Bristlecone Inn. He and his fishing/hunting buddies stay here a lot. We had a large room (#23) with three beds and a kitchenette. The kitchen had a fridge and coffeemaker. Also some plates and silverware. The room had a rather primative/cabin feel... More
