The room was excellent. The bathroom spotless. The decor better than many higher priced hotels. Having a court yard to park my car was a big plus in the Berkeley area. The distance (3-4 blocks) to walk was fine for me but may be a problem for others.

This was a good experience. The man at the front desk who we spoke to was very helpful! His name was Roy. I like the black granite in the bathroom and the rooms were clean and fresh! Thank you for making it a good experience and helping me and my friend, feel right at home! :)!

This was a last minute booking and very good value. On (late) arrival I was given a very warm welcome and was given a well located room (back from the main road). The room was well maintained and serviced. I would certainly stay there again on a budget trip.

“Noise is Worst”

Terrific hotel on every count EXCEPT the walls are so thin, you hear all the noise from next door, down the hall, on the other level, etc. The rooms are fine...recently updated it seems....good stuff but the noise is unbearable. You hear EVERYTHING from almost every room in the hotel.

There was nothing not five star about this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was much nicer than I expected.
