We had a shocking trip to get to Plockton, through heavy snow and rain. Indeed most roads to this beautiful place were blocked by snow or landslide The folks at the Hotel were a tad surprised to see us at all. Was it worth the trip? Yes. Nice room overlooking bay (No7) Not a big room, but Plockton is not... More

My partner and I stayed in the Plockton Hotel earlier in the year and we had our dinner in the main restaurant each night we were there. Absolutely amazing food.....I am not a seafood lover but my partner is so he had the seafood platter and said it was the best (and freshest) seafood he had ever had! The view... More

Two couples - we just spent 3 nights DB&B, staying at the cottage annexe. Reasonable off-season rate, with excellent food and a fine choice of wines and malt whiskies. We travelled to Skye and Applecross during our stay, returning in the afternoon for a dram or two and then dinner. None of us has a single complaint on any aspect... More

Have had many visits to this lovely hotel, almost all out of season. This is a family owned and individually run establishment which also doubles as the heart and soul of the community. The first time we came here, more than 10 years ago, we loved the style and it is just as good today. The old building was brought... More

All that we had read prior to our arrival was almost too good to be true, but as soon as we netered the town and then the hotel, we were indeed impressed. This hotel and this town is a must! We had nice meals - both dinner and breakfast and they were excellent. More

Lovely rooms (althought the showers are a bit hot!), view amazing, lovely people - so friendly & helpful. We stayed at the beginning of November so were lucky to be... More

The B&B is situated in a pub in the heart of the pretty town of Plockton. Walking into the pub, I didn't expect much. It looked a bit dated with a lot of pine. We had a warm welcome and were taken to our room straight away. The room was a complete shock; modern, clean, big, massive TV, DVD player,... More

Great hotel. Room was superb. Food amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Cant understand why previous reviewers were disapponited with the breakfast? Cereals, fruit, lovely fresh juice, toast, preserves, great choice of hot courses. Fish amazing! Throughly recommend! More

We spent one night at the Plocton Hotel. It is a beautiful building in a marvelous spot. The managers are great - friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and stayed on to listen to teh local musicians. It was perfect. However, as we booked late, we spent the night in the cottage annex rather than the main hotel.... More
