We enjoyed our stay here and the en-suite was so good I wanted to take it home! Good food and very clean. A glitch confirming the booking was resolved in good time but was a worry for a short time.

We stayed here, sadly only for one night, as we were part of a cycle ride passing though Tongue raising funds for leakaemia. The hotel had not opened for the season but the owners opened up especially for us. The welcome was wonderful, the owners so helpful, and it was evident they had gone to so much effort for us....

We started our visit to the hotel, by spending some time in the company of their barstaff enjoying an afternoon tipple, sampling some of the local single malts. that evening, we decided to eat in the bar downstairs, and the food was good quality, flavoursome, fresh, and filling. Staff throughout were friendly, even when they were having a bit of...

We had a visit of 1 night and found the hotel room excellent and the food was superb. We were only able to stay 1 night but would have loved to stay longer.

Extraordinary value and if you happen to get...

The Hotel is quite charming and the room we had was splendid with a lovely view.
The staff we encountered - every single one- were lovely people and very friendly.

Travelled around the North West of Scotland and contacted the hotel the day before by email to enquire about booking. Got a very prompt response and booked in for one night.
The hotel appears very traditional and so we were pleasantly surprised with our tasteful room and en-suite that had had a recent makeover. Even more surprising was the huge...
