We've stayed single nights at Creagan House many times en route to and from the Highlands, but never a longer stay, until this time. It's not the place for hurrying, but for a leisurely relaxing visit it's unbeatable. And it's ideal for seeing the Trossachs and Rob Roy territory, that is if you want to venture further than the red... More

We have only missed visiting in one of the last twenty years and we keep coming back not out of habit but because the food is divine and the service excellent..We have not had a better breakfast anywhere in the UK and the evening meals are of a very high quality and great value. The wine list covers all tastes... More

Beautifully sited restaurant with rooms run in the style of a relaxed country house hotel. It's a small place, so everyone gets lots of personal attention and expertise (on food and wine choice for instance) from Cherry Gunn, while her husband and top Scottish chef Gordon does all the cooking. Dinner in the baronial hall is a gourmet delight, while... More

Fantastic Scottish gourmet food, extensive range of wine and whisky, warm hospitality from friendly owners and staff, luxurious rooms, attention to detail and a thoroughly relaxing environment. Not the cheapest place in the world, but you get what you pay for! Very highly recommended, particularly for a special occasion. More

We have stayed here for several years and have never been disappointed with any aspect of our visit.Cherry's welcome is always warm and Gordon's food of the finest quality with locally sourced ingredients.Gordon's signature dish "Smokie in a Pokie" is always enjoyed and the lamb and steaks cooked just as we like them. The grouse starter with beetroot was very tasty.... This was our umpteenth stay at Creagan, on the road to and from the Isles. Our stays were, once again, wonderful in every way, from the warm welcome to the excellent breakfasts. Apart from, amongst other things, the comfortable and beautifully apointed rooms rooms and Gordon's great meals we particularly appreciate the total and utter cleanliness throughout - just let... Just back from a one night stay at this lovely house, we stayed in the Oak Room which has a four poster bed. Cherry was an amazing host and made us very welcome and special. Gordon her husband is a fantastic chef and be prepared to enjoy your meal which is personally presented to you in a wonderful baronial dining... More

What an absolute gem Creagan House is! I don't think we have stayed anywhere quite like it before. The room was wonderful, though we found the bed a little uncomfortabe, (but we find this a lot so maybe it's our problem). Gordon's food is absolutely delicious and he does it all by himself which is nothing short of a minor... More

A great personal welcome from Cherry Gunn who has an amazing memory! Her husband, Gordon, is a fine chef and sources as much as possibly locally. Good full range wine list and fine selection of whiskies. Dogs made most welcome and good walking areas just behind the hotel. We loved it and will return. More
