Fabulous location with spectacular views across the coast and within easy walking distance of the lovely town of Baiona. Our room was large, clean and well appointed with an amazing view out to sea. Food, service and atmosphere in the dining room were below average, but the bar was much better. We ate in the town (we had an excellent... More

If you are going to Baiona, I don't see why you would stay anywhere else. The hotel is perched on a commanding hill above the city, and on the ocean. The ancient walls surround it, but the hotel itself is a modern building. The walls are incredible, with water on three sides. You and your kids can spend a big... More

This place is worth staying at just for its location, but unless you're prepared to pay a high premium do not expect any view. The inside is very traditional but the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms both modern and excellent. We chose to go down to Baiona (10-minute walk down - longer back up!) for dinner where there was... More

The parador was expensive but we decided to book it anyway as we were going to Galicia for my birthday and wanted to stay somewhere nice. The setting of the parador and its exterior are amazing and beautiful but the interior of the parador is dark and quite drab, the food is expensive and I don't think there was much... More

We have been staying in Pardors for the last 15 years approx... And I do love the location, the grandeur and heritage of every one we have stayed in but I must say they are staring to get boring sometimes .. And this one, to me, tops the bill in yawn !!I have to agree with the review from The... More

We were gladly participating to a wedding in Parador de Baiona in 2010. We found the place amazing! Old times kept in a place that could stand as one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Incredible facilities, gorgeous gardens and views, incredible location. We have tasted the food and experience a wonderful staying in Baiona!

I keep coming here over the years (more han 20). The facilities are incredible, very high level and are kept spotless. You sleep in a castle, incredibly located, with 5 star confort and old century feel and old fashioned luxury. Good food, also. A must in this region, if you are willing to pay it.

This is one of the nicer places I have stayed in Spain/Galicia. Beautiful hilltop setting (it's a parador, duh!) and lovely walks around the area and overlooking the surrounding sea. Tasteful, large, comfortable room. I couldn't rate it knowledgeably for value as someone else was paying and I never saw the bill.

Spanish Paradors seem to have a reputation as being amongst the best hotels in Spain, but in fact they seldom live up to these expectations. They are very often superbly located - as is this one - but equally, they have a state-run culture which puts one in mind of 1970s England or the Soviet Union. Staff can be courteous,... More

We really enjoyed our stay - it is a great location, overlooking the sea and within the walls of an old fort. It's easy to get to (we walked up from the bus stop with luggage, which was no problem) and close to the small town with lots of nice restaurants and bars. There are a couple of nice beaches and...
