Port Soller is very pretty. Hotel is a good 15 min walk from the centre, 6-7 min walk from public transport (tram, bus). Gets morning sun on large bar terrace & restaurant overlooking the bay but deep shade from late afternoon - shame. Relaxed informal feel to the hotel but don't expect anything grand. The Hotel Marbell is a little Gem, Its location is its best feature. Over the road to the beach. The food is not top class, but both myself, partner and 2 kids liked most meals. There is always soup start, only 1 main course but we were lucky and got nice stuff. Desserts are ok always a fresh fruit option.... more

The staff are friendly and food is fairly good. Go for the full board as the lunches are very good and the cost is only a few euro's extra per day, so it's no big deal if you miss one or two.
