We absolutely loved our stay, Imelda, you are one of the greatest memories of our Ireland trip, to all those travelling around the world especially Ausies there is no greater experience that a few nights stay at Flemingstown House Kilmallock . I am a very fussy traveller and I can't thank my husband Rob enough booking our stay with Imelda... more

Despite a late night arrival to Flemingstown House, Imelda welcomed my husband, adult daughter and myself as if we were family - offering us tea after she showed us to our beautiful, comfy rooms. She made us feel so at home and told us we could sleep in the next morning. She served up a fabulous breakfast - scrambled eggs... more

My husband, 21-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter stayed two nights in Imelda Sheedy King's beautiful farmhouse. We chose it over the more elaborate large castles with hundreds of rooms because we wanted to connect more with "real Ireland." We were not disappointed! Imelda's hospitality is legendary. From the moment we drove up the long drive, passing a troupe of laconic... more

There is not much more I can add that has not already been said, but maybe I can try... We stayed at Imelda's Flemingstown House at the tail end of our recent vacation. We stayed for a week in Kinsale and used the Flemingstown House as an easy night's stay before going to Shannon Airport in the morning. If I... more

Where do I start? At the beginning I should think. From the time I picked up the telephone to enquire if Imelda had any vacancies until the time we left Flemingstown after a two night stay we had nothing but fantastic hospitality. As soon as we walked through the front door on our arrival we were provided with tea, coffee... more

We booked for one night to stay at Flemingstown House. We arrived mid afternoon and we were greeted by the charming hostess Imelda and at once invited to have tea and delicioius scones. We had booked to have dinner and had the most wonderful meal all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We had wifi (no charge). The rooms were tastefully... more

Took my mother to Ireland to discover our roots and heritage. Choose Flemingstown for it's central location in southern Ireland for day trips - perfect, plus the actual location of Flemingstown near Kilmallock was beautiful with green hills, fields and nature. Nothing is unattended to by the hostess down to fine furnishings, welcoming baked treats, excellent meals, and always being... more

My Irish relatives arrived in America in 1852. I am 56 years old, and am the first of my relatives in that 156 year period to go back to Ireland. My dream since I was a child was to someday go to Ireland, and even though it took awhile, I, with my family, finally made it last August. As you... more
